Well i have a doubt regarding the model "Plasmonic wire grating".
In this model we are simulating the effect of periodic wire grating which is placed on dielectric substrate.
My question is why we put the nano wire such that its half portion is inside the dielectric and half part is inside the air ??
In real situation its like wire is placing on dielectric substrate whose full part is in air.
Can anyone explain this ??
