Hi, first of all excuse my bad English.
I have study about Hollow Waveguides.
I've been using Comsol v5 software to simulate.
I used the dielectric slab waveguide of Comsol examples example.
see this:
www.comsol.com/model/dielectric-slab-waveguide-14709
it is worked perfectly. But I have to check the input and output powers.
I choose "Power outflow, time average" (nPoav_rfwe) and others for input ports and output ports.
But the results don't make sense to me, the input power is very very lower than the output !
How I can see the power in W? Because the input is in W.
How do I calculate the transmission losses in terms of dB.
How I can see Effective index?
how can I simulate "time average" when the simulation is not time-dependent?
Thank you in advance for your response.
