Hello
I am a new user of Comsol. I am trying to visualise the near field enhancement (E^2/E0^2 or normE^2 variable inside comsol) of plasmonic nanoparticle (Silver) using either wave optics or RF module and frequency domain physics. In the multislice view (ZX plane view), I could see the enhanced fields near to the surface, but I also see enhancement on the particle!
Can someone suggest how to set the internal fields(on particle) zero, so that I can see enhancement only near the surface of the nanoparticle.
In general there should not be any electric field inside the plasmonic metal nanoparticle when i am looking at a 2-D view of the particle!!
Forgive my ignorance on this topic as my optical physics knowledge is poor :-)
